someone
who
has
always
been
passionate
about
the
written
word,
I
find
myself
constantly
seeking

ways

explore

to
describe
a
feeling
or
experience.
It's
an
art,
really
-
to
capture
the
essence
of
a
moment
or
emotion
in
just
a
few
well-chosen
words. But
it's
not
just
about
the
technical
aspect
of
writing
-
there
is
also
a
certain
poetry
to
language
that
goes
beyond
mere
syntax
and
grammar.
Whether
it's
the
lilting
rhythm
of
a
sonnet
or
the
sharp,
staccato
beats
of
a
rap
verse,
there
is
no
denying
the
power
of
words
to
move
us,
to
inspire
us,
and
to
make
us
think. This
is
why
I've
always
been
drawn
to
the
world
of
literature
and
poetry.
From
the
epic
tales
of
Homer
and
Shakespeare
to
the
more
contemporary
works
of
Maya
Angelou
and
Neil
Gaiman,
I
find
myself
constantly
inspired
by
the
way
in
which
these
writers
use
language
to
create
whole
new
worlds
for
their
readers. Of
course,
it's
not
just
about
the
classics
-
there
is
a
wealth
of
talented
writers
out
there
today,
exploring
new
forms
and
pushing
the
boundaries
of
what
we
understand
about
language
and
storytelling.
From
micro-fiction
to
flash
poetry,
there
are
so
many
ways
to
engage
with
the
written
word
in
our
modern
age. And
so,
I
continue
on
my
journey
through
the
world
of
words,
seeking
out
new
voices
and
new
experiences
that
will
enrich
my
understanding
of
this
rich
and
complex
medium.
For
me,
there
is
no
greater
joy
than
getting
lost
in
the
lyrical
rhythms
of
a
beautifully
crafted
sentence,
or
the
heady
rush
of
an
unexpected
twist
in
the
tale. In
the
end,
it
is
this
poetic
reverie
that
keeps
me
coming
back
to
the
world
of
words,
again
and
again.
